Streetsville, Mississauga- Bread and Honey Festival

On June 8th, 2008, we attended Streetsville's famed bread and honey festival. The highlight was Sikandar's participation in the 5 K Marathon run. The fastest time was around 15 minutes and Sikandar made it in about 30 minutes. Again, caught on tape; see it for yourself:

Sikandar's Graduation- May 29th, 2008

Sikandar, our No. 2 graduated form Queens University's commerce program. The ceremony was held at Grant's Hall on campus at Kingston. He is also caught on tape. See it for yourself.

Trip to Quebec City - June 3-5th, 2008

We drove to Quebec City to watch the performance of Riverdance at the Quebec City National Theater. Riverdance is Irish tap dancing. Gives true meaning to the phrase- "floats like a butterfly". See it for yourself.

A drive on the picturesque Geuleph LIne from Highway 401 W

While driving on Highway 401 West from Mississauga towards Waterloo, take the exit for Burlington, about 30 minutes from Mississauga. It’s a further 30 minutes to Burlington but it is most picturesque route with beautiful parks, golf courses and , lovely houses. Certainly a very affluent community.

Cherry Picking around Mississauga

Around the Mississauga area (Intersection of Winston Churchill and Steels); are a number of farms which allow you to pick strawberries. The Big Apple Farm is our favorite where we picked a 7 liter basket for $ 10.0. It’s a steal!
